ONIPA unleash two dancefloor sure-shots ahead of their debut album, coming on Strut in Spring 2020.

Makoma is a raucous Soukous party starter, throwing Congolese guitars and tight Coupé décalé drums into the mix, channeling the spirit of 80s greats like Kanda Bongo Man through their Ghana-meets-UK prism. Eponymous track Onipa sits back on a pulsing 3/4 drum machine and percussion groove, stoking their afro futurist fire.
